Jan. 2nd, 2008 10:17 pmThe New Year's party was a success. Not the biggest crowd we've ever had; the fact that New Year's was in the middle of the week this year was probably a factor. herooftheage is looking a LOT better; he also recently got the good news that he appears to be free of cancer now. I had a couple of long nights; after the party ended, it was trash night, so I had to deal with that. Mostly the house is back to normal now; we haven't taken down the Christmas tree yet, but we've got a few days because the next trash night isn't until Monday.
The next challenge: returning to normality, or what passes for it in my life. And finding a new job.
